This is an early Civil War era stoneware ink bottle that we dug from an 1860s outhouse privy pit….we show it being dug in one of our digging videos but I cant remember which one….tan glazed pottery ink bottle…..well defined round ring lip….1 7/8″tall….Good condition with only one shallow flake on shoulder; no other damage. A nice clean bottle with no stain….
