This Studebaker was owned by a fellow club member for many years and was his favorite car to drive to shows and cruise-ins with his son long before my parents acquired it.  The original engine runs very well, idles smooth, and makes very good power.  The transmission shifts well/smooth and has a good feeling clutch.  No extra play in the steering, no clunks, or anything of that sort.  VERY easy to steer and stop.  The overdrive is also a big plus!
Just a great looking car both inside and out.  While there are various areas that have been touched up, and the paint is obviously very old, you can see that it shines very well and is still attractive in the photos.  This Studebaker has been in a good climate all of its life and is garage kept.  Much of the chrome and stainless is original and in good condition for its age, including the original plastic spears on top of the fenders.  It has a VERY nice original dash, steering wheel, horn ring, knobs, and controls as you can see in the photos (which is what you’d expect from a nice original survivor car with low miles).  The interior in general is quite nice for the age of the car and for being as original as it is.  Engine bay and trunk are both clean and tidy.
It is a great looking car that you should be proud to take to all your events or just drive for fun and special occasions.
Please see the photos and ask whatever questions you might have.
