Up for sale is my 1990 740 GLE with the 16 Valve motor, Grey leather interior and silver paint. AC blows cold converted to R134a. Automatic. Minimal rust. Rebuilt motor. I have owned it for a year and have been daily driving it since the full engine rebuild earlier this year. I have about 7000 miles on the rebuild which entails a fully resurfaced head, new valves and other goodies. I spent roughly 800 at the machine shop alone on the head. All work has been done professionally by a Volvo mechanic with decades of redblock experience. All new suspension was put in as well as the full timing service kit with the counterbalance belt and all the proper gaskets and hard to find OEM parts. I have also upgraded the lights nice LEDs. The car is original, unmolested and basically stock. There are some trim pieces that aren’t back on which I have to finish the interior. I will also include 2 more of the same wheels with proper hubcaps to make a full set  of 4 + 1 and a full set of hubcaps. The automatic transmission pulls strong, the previous owner was an elderly lady. 1st to second is not worn like usual. Obviously it will come cleaned out with no toys or tools. I have the rear seat headrest in the back. Sadly it will not come with the trunk rubber boot liner accessory, I need it for my next wagon project. I’m happy to say we have resurrected this one after buying it with a busted head. It’s a superb reliable daily driver I have put over 7000 on it this past year alone. I’m only selling it to put the funds back into more redblock projects here. I believe wagons are the ultimate daily driver and this is one not to be missed. The paint is showing its age, a few dings a lot of mini scratches but that’s just the way these are. Not many were babied or kept in garages. The 700/900 are the workhorses of the redblock lineup in my opinion. Asking $6000. I have $4000 into it the last year rebuilding it.
