Arthur Percy for Aseda Sweden Delicate Hand Blown Vase c1952 w Original Label
This listing is for a vintage Arthur Percy delicate hand blown vase. Designed in 1952. It measures 19.5 inches tall by 6 inches wide at the widest point, and has a concave base. Percy’s design was actually made by a few major Scandinavian glass houses. Originally designed for Gullaskruf, it was produced by Aseda, Lindshammar and Elme. This form was selected for the Corning Glass Museum Special Exhibition of 1959.  It is documented in Scandinavian Glass Fire and Sea by Leslie Pina and Lorenzo Vigier. This vase was made at the Aseda, Sweden glass works and still retains part of its original label as shown in the pictures.
Condition
: No chips, cracks, flakes, or cloudiness. There is a very light water mark ring around the bottom inside edge visible in flat light upon very close inspection.
