Up for purchase is a very nice example of a M1947 US Army utility jacket/shirt. As the pictures show, it is in good condition, with no holes, tears, or rips that I can see. The markings on the upper back show the size as small, and are for the most part, legible. This shirt is fully patched, with the name of the soldier, US Army tape and shoulder insignia, indicating he was a member of the 24th Infantry Armored Division. The only flaws with the shirt that I can see are the left breast pocket is missing the button, and the left pocket flap is about a quarter of the way unstitched from the rest of the shirt. Otherwise, it is in nice condition. This would make an excellent addition to any US Army or Korean War collection.
