Here we have a nice cone ink bottle from the 1890s. The glass is deep cobalt blue in color that gets almost clear in one lower half of the bottle giving this one a great look with light behind it. The base is crudely embossed ” Carter’s 1897 Made In USA”. Very tough to make out on this example but it is that mold. This ink stands just over 2 1/4″ tall and is in great condition with just one tiny flea bite to the neck ring and some fairly light spotty haze. No other chips, cracks, or issues.
