Rare Diamond Shaped 4-Sided Embossed Poison Bottle 2-3/4″ 1880s Era Very Nice!.
Small 4-Sided Poison Bottle. Embossed: POISON on Two Front Panels. Embossed: 52  F on Bottom. Very Nice Condition. It was dug up by my uncle in the late 1960s – Early 1970s. I can’t say where it was found as he traveled throughout the Western USA and did not keep records of his finds. This was in his attic when he passed about 20 years ago. This is a Very Nice Little Bottle. It measures approximately 2 3/4″ Tall. About 1 5/8″ by 1 1/8″ at Base. Seams end at the top of shoulder / base of neck, indicating manufacture sometime around the1870s to 1880s. There are two very small nicks that do not detract at all from the value or the eye appeal of the bottle but I thought them worth mentioning for full disclosure. There is one near the shoulder at rear and another at the back rear bottom corner. View them in the last two photos.
