It walks you through step by step and my first pair of socks turned out perfect!! She uses DPN and that is what I started with but have now (on my fourth pair of socks) have switched to the Magic Loop method. I learned that on the internet but still use my book as my basis for all my socks. I strongly recommend it and it is the BEST reference tool.
