Darling vintage cotton 2 piece dress set in a pretty soft shade of lilac/ lavender. Last photo for best color reference.  It features a sleeveless bodice with waist up and side bust darts, wide set collar with cute pleated trim. Trapunto flower motif with rhinestone accents. Pearlized button front closure. The full circle skirt also features trapunto detailing with rhinestones on wonderfully oversized pockets.  Nice wide waistband.  Both the top and the skirt are unlined. Center back Green brand metal zipper closure with glass buttons for the waist band. Shown photographed with a crinoline underneath- crinoline not included. Last 2 photos show it without a crinoline.  I estimate it to be from the 1950’s.
Condition: Overall very good vintage condition. There is some underarm discoloration/ slight darkening- see photos. There is also some discoloration along the crease of the collar at the back neck- doesn’t show when worn- I did not show this in the photos. Some repairs have been made to re-stitch the pocket seams. There is a small tear by the back hem of the top (doesn’t show when tucked into the skirt) Some of the rhinestones have darkened, but all are present. The buttons look to have been moved to make the waistband a bit larger and one of the button holes is a bit worn. I have hand washed and air dried both pieces so the set is clean and wearable.  A fun and pretty midcentury dress set!
