Description
Offered for your consideration is a vintage Bell System, Public Telephone flanged sign.  This is an original sign and NOT a reproduction.  Made of metal with a porcelain or enamel finish, the sign is from the 1930-40s era.  The sign is in very good to near excellent ‘as found’ used condition, with very minor color loss.  The graphics are near perfect, except for a small nick near the top of the bell on only one side (see pic #14).  The sign still retains the grommets at the mounting holes.  It measures 11″ x 11″ and has a weight of 2 pounds 10 ounces, and will ship at 4 pounds 4 ounces, as it will be double boxed for protection.  A real beauty for display.  Auctions can be combined to save on shipping.  Thank you for viewing my listing.   ***Please note that there is some glare to some of the photos.*****
