The National Baseball Hall of Fame marketed individual Metallic Plaque-cards, 1981 to 1989, by series at its gift shop. Each plaque is an exact replica – in gold anodized aluminum – of the member’s official Hall of Fame plaque in miniature (standard card size), 2-1/2″ by 3-1/2″. Produced in very small quantities, just 1,000 impressions of each were manufactured – making these 10 times scarcer than the popular Perez-Steele Hall of Fame art postcards.
