No rust never bent. I picked this car up in Oklahoma a few months back but decided to go another direction. Just performed timing belt kit, water pump, MAF assembly, oil change, new Hood shocks,vvt solenoid, upper motor mount. Cars run well and pulls strong. The dreaded service chassis light on as the PO replaced the passages side front passenger strut with a non 4C unit. There is a long scratch on the passenger side which is hard to see but is there. I would replace the door skins and fix the spots or leave them and never worry about shopping carts. Car is speedy and fun to drive, but I decided I wanted an older Volvo stick. My loss could be gain.

A 2006 article titled “The Manwagon”, The Wall Street Journal linked the V70R to a trend “to lure speed-crazy guys with kids,” saying “car makers are trying to transform the dowdy old family hauler into something new.

A total of 1,565 V70Rs were shipped to North America in 2004 making this a rare piece of Swede steel!
