BIG EAST ALL CONFERENCE HONORS PLAQUE issued to one of the 1980-1981
BIG EAST ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM MEMBERS. This is from the very first year
of the Big East basketball conference.
I
obtained this from the player who this award was given to and it has been in
my personal collection ever since. Again this amazing item is from
the very first BIG EAST BASKETBALL SEASON. It is a true piece of college
basketball history and would be a great addition to any collection. I
doubt you will ever seen another one for sale. It was tough to get a
good picture because of glare/shadows. Believe me when I say the actual
item is stunning and in great shape. Most of these awards you see
(especially from 40 years ago) are all beat up, chipped, etc. This one
really looks like it was issued yesterday
