Wonderful old original cast iron Tammany Hall mechanical
penny bank.  Made in the U.S. by J. & E. Stevens c. 1870’s. (Mechanical banks by Dan Morphy pg. 307).  The bank shows Boss Tweed, head of a New York City corrupt political organization,  pocketing money. (place penny in hand and he drops it into his pocket. The bank measures 6″ tall and is in very nice, working condition with No rust, cracks, breaks or repairs. (see photos). GUARANTEED OLD AND ORIGINAL AND AS DESCRIBED.
