Tiny exquisite antique Georgian era brooch pin, (early 1800s, pre-Victorian), oval shape, the mounting is possibly pinchbeck, yellow gold in color, with teeny tiny seed pearls wired onto a mother of pearl shell plaque, the central medallion is enameled in cobalt blue, accented with a tiny rose cut diamond, measuring 7/8″ x 5/8″ overall, has T bar hinge and simple C clasp, unmarked, probably English in origin, a charming little treasure, good antique condition, previously owned, from a local estate.
